Cue the drumroll! Georgette Alden Starts Over has a lovely, fun, cute, new cover. 
I can picture Georgette in these heels. And look, there's a penguin peeking out the bottom. Why a penguin?  For now, I'm gonna be all mysterious about it. Stay tuned and I might just maybe tell you. Of course, I'll tell. You can't keep penguins a secret for long, you know.

A new website deserves a new blog. 

I've always liked to think of a blog as a place; a café or a garden, or a backyard, where you get together and share a few stories and a few laughs. 
So think of Annie's place like that. A happy place where I can share with you bits and pieces of writing, a picture or two, maybe a recipe, who knows? 
Those of you who know me know I love photography. I'm passing my love on to Annie. The picture in the header is one I took last month at a park in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. One of my happy places. Annie, being a girl who likes variety, will no doubt change the header from time to time. That's okay. I've got lots of pictures to share. And lots of words, too. So, watch this spot . You never know what you might find.
